Chapter 02The Moment
For a few weeks each year, forty tonnes of intelligence lifts gently out of the Pacific twenty metres from your railing. Time slows. The boat goes quiet. Everyone on board becomes, for one held breath, part of the same ocean.
Ch. 03Why This Place
The East Australian Current sweeps warm water past the Cape Byron headland — Australia's most easterly point — pulling the annual humpback migration within kilometres of the coast. Ballina sits at the perfect launch point: fast river access, sheltered boarding, offshore feeding grounds fifteen minutes away.

Ch. 05Family Owned
Ballina Byron Marine Adventures wasn't created in an office. It was built from a lifetime spent surfing these beaches, fishing these waters and raising a young family on the Northern Rivers coastline.
Angus grew up in Ballina. Cori grew up in Lennox Head. Together they've spent more than fifteen years on these waters — learning every tide, every season and every migration.
Today, they're sharing that experience with every family who steps aboard. This isn't just a whale watching tour. It's their home.
